Set in the roaring 1920's and based on real murder and their court trials, we follow Roxie Hart, a wannabe vaudeville star who murders her lover and is arrested. in jail she meets her hero, the famed double-murderess and performer Vema key. When both aquire the same lawyer, Billy Flynn; who turns their incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, tensions come to a head as they both vie for the press's spotlight.
Chicago is a musical spectacular featuring the song staples; 'Razzle Dazzle', 'The Cell Block Tango', and 'All That Jazz'.
