A Slice of Saturday night is a musical based around the swinging music of the 60's. Seven teenagers dance and flirt at the popular British suburbian Club-A-Go-Go on a Saturday night. Sue is dating Gary, who flirts with Penny and other girls at every opportunity. Sharon and Rick like each other but are too shy say. Eddie is challenged by the boys to persuade "frigid" Bridget to "touch his whatsit" with very little success. And the aged rocker owner of the club Eric "Rubber-legs" De Vere, watches and lends an ear to the young people as they navigate the rituals of teenage fashion, music, sexual moves and relationships.
